Transformation, advancement and progression are essential to the profession of design. As a result, designers must be open to new ideas, processes and delivery methods. Anticipating design trends in efforts to stay ahead of the curve not only set us apart as designers, but also offers clients the reassurance our creations will stand the test of time.

Designing for the environment and designing for the client are no longer mutually exclusive. As a design professional, it is not only our responsibility to provide solutions to todays problems, but also provide opportunities to solve future ones as well.

SUSTAINABILITY

We believe great ideas arise from multiple sources of inspiration. Though the main concept may derive from one thing, it is not meant to be the only point of reference. Instead,it should be seen as a foundation to expound upon. Through effectively communicating ideas and the collaboration of unique methods, new opportunities are able to be discovered.

COLLABORATION

Attention to detail is everything. It is the means to discovering different alternatives, missed opportunities and ways to maximize efficiency. Therefore, design phases are not prioritized by hierarchy, instead they are treated equally important. We

strongly believe the whole is only as great as the sum of its parts. From meeting the client initially and identifying the problem to delivering the final solution, we value the opportunity and process of transforming ideas to reality.

HOLISTIC APPROACH

As a client, excellence is demanded, excellence is expected. Anything short of this is unacceptable. To ensure our work meets this standard, we prefer our design process and decisions to be transparent. We encourage clients to be involved in every step of design and believe clear communication is the only way to deliver exceptional results. At DCDG, we don’t just aim for excellence, we aim to exceed it.
